Bella

Meet This Exceptional Horse

Bella is a beautiful Shire/Thoroughbred mare who has called Sunny Sugarcreek Stables home for nearly four years. Now over 25 years old and happily retired, Bella carries herself with the quiet confidence and wisdom that come with age. Her striking black coat, white blaze, and distinctive white feathering around her hooves make her a beautiful presence on the farm. Bella is exceptionally smart and has a strong sense of what she likes—and what she doesn’t! She especially enjoys having her ears rubbed and being pampered, with visits from her chiropractor and massage therapist ranking among her favorite days. Despite her arthritis, Bella continues to enjoy her peaceful life here, surrounded by her herd and cared for with the extra attention that a senior horse deserves. Bella may be particular, but that’s part of what makes her Bella. She has a wise, independent character and a way of letting you know exactly what she thinks. ❤️
